Wildlife Garden Group

A very enjoyable time was spent in St Catherine’s wild life garden last Saturday morning. The weather was glorious and fifteen volunteers turned up to help. Their enthusiasm and hard work turned a very overgrown area into a  place of quiet contemplation and to connect with nature. We cleared brambles, pruned bushes and dug a large patch of earth where we sprinkled a great quantity of wild seeds ready for the spring. We enjoyed a lunch of sandwiches and delicious homemade cakes. Our time in the garden was a success  with people asking to be kept informed when the next help out day was going to be as they would like to join us again.  The St Catherine’s Environmental Group would like to thank very everyone who helped.
