Carols Round the Tree, Burbage

The Mayor of Hinckley & Bosworth, Cllr Robin Webber-Jones and his Consorts, daughters Amelia and Clara, are to attend a Christmas service hosted by St Catherine’s Church at the Coronation Tree on Church Street on Friday December 20.
It will include a collection for the mayor’s chosen charities – Twycross Zoo, Hinckley Homeless Group and Alzheimer’s Society – and St Catherine’s Church Save Our Spire appeal.
The service starts at 7pm, with a road closure from 6pm to 9pm.
